Dr. Pimontel is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist (ABPP-CN) with specialized expertise in adults presenting with complex medical, neurologic, and psychiatric conditions. Her clinical experience spans a broad range of comorbid presentations, developed through over a decade of practice at academic medical centers such as the James J. Peters VAMC in the Bronx, where she continues to serve a culturally diverse veteran population with complex medical needs.

She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Neuropsychology at the Graduate Center, City University of New York, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medicine, Westchester Division, training under leading researchers in geriatric psychiatry and cognitive aging.

She has published peer-reviewed research on late-life depression, apathy, executive dysfunction, and cognitive interventions, and is an active member of the International Neuropsychological Society and the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology.
