Dr. Pimontel is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist (ABPP-CN) with specialized expertise in adults presenting with complex medical, neurologic, and psychiatric conditions. Her clinical experience spans a broad range of comorbid presentations developed through over a decade of practice at academic medical centers such as the James J. Peters VAMC in the Bronx, where she continues to serve a culturally-diverse veteran population with diverse and medically complex needs.

She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with Emphasis in Neuropsychology at the Graduate Center, City University of New York, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at NYPresbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Westchester Division, training under leading researchers in geriatric psychiatry and cognitive aging. She has published peer-reviewed research on late-life depression, apathy, executive dysfunction, and cognitive interventions, and is an active member of the International Neuropsychological Society and the American Association of Clinical Neuropsychology.
