Three appointments. Three weeks.

THE EVALUATION PROCESS

Structured to be thorough without being overwhelming, spaced so you can go home and rest between sessions.

Week One

01

Clinical Interview

60 minutes

We meet to review your history in depth, your concerns, symptoms, medical background, and daily functioning. Family members or caregivers are welcome to join. This conversation shapes the testing that follows.

Week Two

02

Cognitive Assessment

2–3 hours

A battery of standardized paper-and-pencil and computer tasks assessing memory, attention, language, processing speed, executive function, and mood. No scans, no needles. Tiring but not painful.

Week Three

03

Feedback Session

60 minutes

I review the findings with you directly, explaining what the results mean in plain language, answering your questions, and outlining next steps. You receive two written reports before you leave.

A complete picture of how your brain is working.

A neuropsychological evaluation doesn't test just one thing. It measures the full range of cognitive functions, because the brain works as an integrated system, and understanding it requires looking at all the parts.

Memory

How well you learn and retain new information, and retrieve things you already know.

Attention

Your ability to focus, stay on task, and filter out distraction.

Processing Speed

How quickly your brain takes in and responds to information.

Language

Word-finding, comprehension, verbal fluency, and the ability to express ideas clearly.

Executive Functions

Planning, reasoning, decision-making, and the ability to shift between tasks.

Visuospatial Ability

How your brain perceives and interprets visual information and spatial relationships.

Neuropsychiatric Symptoms

Depression, apathy, irritability, and behavioral change as manifestations of underlying neurological and medical conditions, not assessed in isolation, but in the context of the full cognitive picture.
